High Strength Energy Absorbing Bolt
The High Strength Energy Absorbing Bolt is made of smooth round bar with paddle configuration.
It is an effective rock reinforcement system for underground roof support. If there is rock mass deformation, the paddle part will be worked as anchor points to bear the load and smooth section will absorb energy to prevent rock fall.
Features
- After fully grouted in the bore hole, the paddle part will work as anchor points. If there is rock mass deformation, the paddlesection will bear the load and thesmooth section can move axially or radially without constraints and absorb energy to prevent rockfall.
- Kiruna wedge can be used for immediate support function. So that the wire mesh can be installed together with bolt.
- This High Strength Energy Absorbing Bolt is particularly suitable for mines with large deformations in the rock mass, i.e. seismically active mines, rock burst or squeeze rock area.
Posi Bolts
Specially designed spring wire attached to the up-hole end ensures that the resin components are thoroughly combined and distributed evenly. The Posi bolt is used with a face plate, domed ball, anti-friction washer, and nut.
- The main body of the Posi bolt is a full thread bar bolt, with the top end coiled into a spring shape using steel wire.

Grooved Bolts / Paddle Bolts
The paddle bolt, also named a "grooved bolt" is manufactured from full threadbar, TR-Bar or Rebar.
One end is stamped into 3½ paddle configuration and the other end is rolled thread.

Slot & Wedge / Kiruna Bolts
The Full threadbar bolt can be an effective rock reinforcement system for underground rock support. Used with face plate, domed ball, anti-friction washer and nut, Spherical washers can force every direction, increasing the bearing capacity of the tray.

The Slot & Wedge bolt, also named the Kiruna bolt, can be manufactured from full threadbar, TR-Bar or Rebar.

Eye Bolts
The Eye bolt provides a mechanism to quickly and safely suspend services from the hanging wall, using an expansion shell for installation.

How to use
- Before commencing with any work, examine the place where the bolts are to be installed and make safe. Bar down where necessary and install temporary support in accordance with the relevant mine standard procedures.
- Drill the hole where indicated to the required depth and the correct diameter.
- Remove the plastic sleeve from the expansion unit and discard.
- Rotate the expansion unit for a few turns to make sure that it moves freely along the thread.
- Insert the eyebolt into the hole, expansion unit first, to the required depth.
- The eyebolt is then twisted to expand the expansion unit and secure the eyebolt into place.
