Atlas Copco Secoroc's drill steel is highly durable against fatigue, offering high wear resistance and strength, and a low cost per meter drilling operation. We offer fully carburized rods with outstandning quality and maximum service life. Optimized matrices and crown profiles

We engineered new matrices and optimized crown profiles; by calculating the right balance between these variables we have achieved bits with exceptional penetration rates as well as extended service lives in the toughest of drilling conditions. The latest result of such testing is our new Azure matrix, proven to drill exceptionally well through the entire range of medium hard to hard formations.

Improved performance

The bits cutting ability has been improved compared to existing bit ranges, which allows a higher penetration rate or a lowered weight on bit (WOB) when formation demands it.

Less inventory needed

Our bits offer faster drilling, longer lasting coring bit that performs in a wider range of drilling conditions and formations. This means fewer bits needed on the job site, both in operation and on the shelf, and increased productivity throughout the entire operation, from purchasing to retrieving the core.

Bit selection made easy

To simplify bit selection, rock formations have been categorized into three applications. Each application has a series of matrices designed specifically for that type of drilling condition which will provide optimum performance.
